Inje - Gombaeryeong Hill

The entry to Gombaeryeong starts on altitude 700 meters and lead the visitors to the summit on altitude 1106 meters, and the distance is 5 kilometers.

How to reserve advance and reach to Gombaryeong Hill: Advance reservation is necessary (http://www.forest.go.kr/kfsweb/kfi/kfs/jbRsrvt/jbIntro.do?mn=NKFS_03_07_02_01_01) after prescribing the site of Korea Forest Service. It is difficult for foreign visitors to make a reservation as it is possible to reserve it only in Korean. Thus if a foreigner wants to go there, he/she may ask someone to help it.

And an unfamiliar visitor may depend on a navigator to reach there. It is hard for a foreigner to use public transportation (DongSeoul Bus Terminal -> Hyeongri Bus Terminal(2 hours) -> Bus no. 46 -> Get off at Seolpibat (1 hour) -> walk to Gombaeryeong (1 hour)). Rent-a-car is recommended.

There are beautiful trails along the valley and many people walk. Just walk joyfully through the leafy forest, hearing the sound of the clear water in the valley and the birds.

On the way to go Gombaeryeong Hill, there is a Gangseon Village. Can enjoy some food.

Here is the top of Gombaeryeong; Gombaeryeong is named according to the shape of it, It is said that it looks like a bear lying with its belly toward the sky. It is in Mt. Jeombongsan which faces Mt. Seolasan.

What if we met a wild boar on our way to Gombaeryeong? We can easily find traces of wild boar on the Bear Baeryeong course.
